I-95 REOPENED: Overturned semi truck shuts down I-95 South near JTB

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE 6/8/19 9:43 P.M.: The Florida Highway Patrol said the semi truck that overturned and shut down I-95 for several hours Saturday spilled around 100 gallons of diesel onto the road.

Hazmat crews were visible on the Department of Transportation traffic camera assisting in cleaning up the fuel spill before a heavy storm rolled through.

UPDATE 6/8/19 8:25 P.M.: All lanes are open and traffic is flowing in both directions on I-95.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department reported a semi truck crash on I-95 South near J. Turner Butler Boulevard.

TRENDING: 

Police, emergency medical crews and JFRD are responding to the accident.

JFRD said there is a fuel leak involved.

All lanes of I-95 South are shut down and I-95 North is experiencing heavy delays.
