Ministers encourage people to come forward in deadly mass shooting in Northwest Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Ministers came together Tuesday to encourage the community to come forward with information about the deadly mass shooting in Northwest Jacksonville.

The mass shooting Sunday night near the Cleveland Arms Apartments killed an 18-year-old, 22-year-old and 11-month-old, and injured two others.

The Baptist Ministers Conference of Duval County and surrounding areas held the news conference Tuesday morning at the complex.

The ministers are asking for people to speak up to help bring closure to the incident.

The ministers said they are in full support of Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry, Jacksonville Sheriff Mayor Lenny Curry and all city officials concerning the deadly shooting as well as all the other tragic shootings in the community.

Anyone who has any information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS. You can remain anonymous and receive a possible reward of up to $3,000.
