PIERCE COUNTY, Ga. — A student at Pierce County High School tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, according to the school district.
The Georgia Department of Public Health and contact tracers have been in touch with everyone who the district says needed to know.

Officials say the student and all those who came into contact with the person on Monday are in quarantine and the district told Action News Jax it is following all guidelines.
Monday was the first day of school for Pierce County Schools students. The district reopened schools for in-person learning.
