FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — During Friday’s commute on US 17 south in Flagler County, Reginald De’George Lumpkin, 19, of Palm Coast crashed his vehicle while fleeing from deputies.

He ran, throwing a firearm, but deputies located the firearm and caught Lumpkin.
Lumpkin was taken to HCA Florida Putnam Hospital where he was medically cleared, police said.
He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault on law enforcement, fleeing and eluding police at a high rate of speed, resisting an officer without violence and destroying evidence.
He also has two out-of-county warrants from Flagler County, police said.
He was taken to the Putnam County Jail and held without bond.
