Two dead following shooting after party on Easter Sunday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — 9:48 a.m. UPDATE: The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has identified the two victims as Etrice Inman, 30, and Silas Ervin, 30.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a double murder in Northwest Jacksonville that occurred Easter Sunday night.

There were over a dozen detectives at the scene around 11 p.m. and there was also a vehicle with holes on the passenger side. Police have not confirmed if the holes are bullet holes.

At approximately 8:46 p.m., police responded to the 3000 block of Dunn Avenue near Lem Turner Road in reference to a shooting. Police said a black female was found dead in the parking lot upon arrival, and a black male was found in the same area. He later died at a local hospital, according to JSO.

The two victims attended a party at The Party Spot venue where there were about 500 to 1000 people at the party. Investigators have no witness information or suspect description at this time.
