JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police are searching for the person who demanded money from a bank teller at a San Jose SunTrust Wednesday.
Police said a man wearing a dark shirt, blue jeans and a white baseball hat came into the bank at 6300 St. Augustine Road around 2:15 p.m.
He showed the teller a note that demanded money.
The teller gave him money and he fled the building on foot.
Witnesses lost sight of him when he entered a nearby shopping center.
Police interviewed witnesses at the scene and said the suspect is 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds. They continue to investigate.
