JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — 11 AM UPDATE: The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office told us they are responding to a reported suicide.
Police remain at the scene, and the road closure is still in effect.
Heavy police presence in a West Jacksonville neighborhood has blocked off streets Saturday morning.
Our crew at the scene is reporting that police have taped off Placeda Street at Almeda Street. Multiple units are at the scene.
