Police respond to ShotSpotter notification, man self-transports to hospital

Detectives are conducting an investigation

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a ShotSpotter notification on Mcconihe Street at 9:37 p.m. Friday. Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle and residence that had been shot.

While officers were conducting an investigation, a man showed up at a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives from the Aggravated Battery Unit are conducting an investigation.
