JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Action News Jax first told you about a pregnant woman shot inside her Westside home on Thursday morning.
Ciara Tillman, 29, was rushed to the hospital to have an emergency C-section following the shooting Thursday morning. According to family members, Tillman was in critical condition at UF Health all day Thursday.

Tillman's family members say she was shot in her liver, but after a successful surgery on Friday, she's been downgraded from critical condition and can now speak.
A healthy baby girl was delivered Thursday when Tillman was brought to the hospital.
Family members say the healthy baby, named Nila, was not harmed in the shooting and is a healthy baby girl despite being delivered early.
Tillman's family shared a photo of the baby with Action News Jax on Friday.
They say the baby was not hit by the bullet when her mother was shot.
