JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The cutting edge of medicine is now available inside a local high school classroom.
An anatomage table is the newest addition at The Bolles School. It will allow local students to dissect the human body, without the actual body.

The tables are usually reserved for universities and hospitals. There are only a few at high schools around the world.
It’s all virtual; students can dissect body layers with the push of a button.
“The coolest thing is you can cut the body in half, and like dissect it part by part,” said Bolles student Shira Dubow.
School officials say the table has already been implemented into the curriculum at the school.
