NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — The Nassau County Commission has released the application process for individuals that need financial assistance because of COVID-19.
The application should show any loss of income and/or termination or layoff of employment that happened between March 1, 2020 and December 30, 2020. Applicants must also meet the following 2020 income limits:
Applications can be completed online and must be completed by August 24.
Nassau County received a total of $372,504 in CARES act on August 4. Applicants can receive a maximum of $3,300 per household to help with rent or mortgage payments.
The process will include a random generator to establish a review sequence, so the time/date of the application submission will not affect the possible assistance the individual can get. Applicants will be notified of their award beginning September 8, 2020 by e-mail or phone call.
