Jackonville, FL. — Representative John Rutherford announced this years nominees to the United States Air Force Academy, United States Merchant Marine Academy ,United States Military Academy, and the United States Naval Academy.
Representative Rutherford congratulated 34 nominees from Jacksonville local area schools.
“One of the greatest privileges I have as a congressman is to nominate motivated and well-rounded young leaders from our community to attend America’s military academies,” said Rutherford.
These nominees will now go through a highly competitive selection process with students across the country to receive a nomination from the President, Vice President, or a member of Congress.
