FHP Report confirms deadly ATV crash at Hog Waller Mud Bog

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — Update 6/8/19 8:50 P.M.: Hog Waller Mud Bog's official Facebook page posted a message addressing the deadly all-terrain vehicle crash at their off-road event earlier today.

In a press release, the Florida Highway Patrol said William T. Lemire fell off his ATV at Hog Waller Mud Bog and was fatally wounded. Lamire was pronounced dead on the scene.

Update 6/8/19 5:13 P.M.: The Florida Highway Patrol tweeted the all-terrain vehicle crash involved a single vehicle with a single occupant and the rider was deceased on the scene.

A portion of the Hog Waller Mud Bog ATV park is closed for investigation.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office said there was a deadly crash at Hog Waller Mud Bog in Palatka involving an all-terrain vehicle.

Police confirmed that one person is dead as the result of the ATV crash.
