The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office reported an undetermined death on the 9800 block of Old Baymeadows Road.
JSO said they received the call around 8 p.m. to 9801 Old Bay Meadows road for "shots fired".
When JSO arrived at the scene they found a male victim with "apparent gun shot wounds".
JSO's homicide unit is now investigating, but does not have any suspect information at this time.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, JSO said.
