JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Fletcher High School was temporarily evacuated Wednesday after a reported bomb threat.
The Duval County School police and Jacksonville Sheriff's Office were at the school investigating.
"We are asking all parents and guardians to not come to the school or call students during the evacuation," Duval County Public Schools spokesman Mark Sherwood said. "Duval County Public Schools will provide an update to parents via an automated call, and also post updates on our Twitter and Facebook pages."
A concerned father waiting at the school during the evacuation said he didn’t expect something like this in Neptune Beach.
The all-clear was given at the school at about 11:40 a.m. The students were released back to class.
