ORANGE PARK, Fla. — Action News visited Akaya Sushi in Orange Park in the Restaurant Report. Health inspectors temporarily shut down the eatery for one day after finding dozens of live roaches, produce with a mold-like growth and a blackish-green substance in the ice machine.
An employee got the manager on the phone to explain what they’re doing to prevent roaches.
"We do normally, like, twice a month, to have the pest control come here for service, you know?” said the manager.
