Restaurant Report visits Sanabel and Lee's Dragon

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Two local restaurants were temporarily closed down by state health inspectors this week.

Sanabel Middle Eastern Cuisine is located on Atlantic Boulevard in Jacksonville.  The restaurant recently failed inspection two days in a row and an emergency order was issued. You can see the reports by clicking here.

The inspector closed the restaurant down again the very next day after finding more live and dead roaches.

When we called Sanabel to ask about the roach problem we were told "no comment" by a worker who answered the phone.

Another emergency order was issued by the state this week at Lee's Dragon. The restaurant is located on Lane Avenue in Jacksonville.

The inspector found dozens of dead and live roaches right next to the wok... you can see the full report by clicking here.  He noted the restaurant operator started killing them.

The restaurant manager, Amber, told us, "We are located next to another restaurant and they bombed recently so the roaches may have come over here. We have taken care of everything."

Both restaurants have since passed their inspections and are now back open.
