JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A River City Science Academy employee has been placed on administrative leave after posting a social media video containing comments that many people have described as antisemitic.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Jaden Salameh has worked at River City Science Academy’s Mandarin campus since August 2025. School leaders say Salameh has worked as an extended day teacher and fill-in substitute teacher.
The controversy stems from a TikTok video titled, “My controversial opinions that are 100% right.”

In the more than one-minute video, Salameh discussed America and relationships. During the video, she said, “There’s one group of people that own literally everything. The banking systems... the White House... legislative, executive, judicial branch. We send all of our money to this country. Fake country, shouldn’t even exist. Was literally curated out of thin air. But that group of people own everything.... they are the elitists. They’re intertwined in everything behind the scenes. They run Hollywood, they run the media, they run the systems, they run the shows.”
The comments mirror stereotypes that have historically been used against Jewish people and have been associated with antisemitic conspiracy theories.
Action News Jax brought the video to the attention of River City Science Academy leadership. School officials said they were not aware of the video before it was shared with them.
The school later released the following statement:
“River City Science Academy is aware of concerns regarding social media content attributed to a part-time after-school care employee. Contrary to some published descriptions, the individual is not a classroom teacher. RCSA takes concerns of this nature seriously, particularly when they may affect our school community. Content posted on personal social media accounts does not represent the views or positions of River City Science Academy unless expressly authorized by RCSA.
Upon becoming aware of the matter, RCSA initiated an administrative review. Because this is an active personnel matter, RCSA will not provide additional information regarding the individual employee or speculate about the outcome of the review. River City Science Academy is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive educational environment for all students, families, employees, and members of our school community.
Our focus remains on the well-being of our students, the integrity of our educational environment, and maintaining the trust of the families and communities we serve."
The school confirmed Salameh has been placed on administrative leave while the review is underway.
Action News Jax reached out to Salameh for comment but had not received a response as of publication.
