Police said two people were held at gunpoint during a home invasion robbery in the San Jose area.

It happened Monday around 3:30 a.m. at an apartment complex on Toledo Road.

Action News Jax tried talking to dozens of neighbors, but they were too afraid to go on camera because they’re scared the suspects would come back.

The victims told police they were sleeping on the couch in the living room when they heard a noise outside

JSO said the victim looked out the window and saw a tall, dark figure standing on the balcony.

The report said the suspects kicked in the front door and demanded their belongings.

The victims said they hid under a blanket while the suspects held what appeared to be handguns to their heads.

The victims were not hurt.

According to the report, the suspects stole money, debit cards and a 2019 Chevrolet Camaro rental car.

Police said the victim’s debit card was used at a BP gas station shortly after the home invasion.
