DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — The Duval County school district gave a written reprimand to the principal of Westside High School.
The reprimand is in connection with the investigation into three school workers. School officials said Dr. Gregory Bostic failed to provide pertinent information in an initial misconduct report.

The school district said Bostic's reporting of the incident was inconsistent and he failed to disclose information he knew, such as the name of one of the teachers involved. The reprimand said any future problems could result in him being fired.
“While your actions did not result in harm or endanger students in this case, such failure to timely and thoroughly report all relevant information demonstrates poor judgment,” Superintendent Dr. Nikolai Vitti said in the reprimand.
Action News Jax previously reported the accusations against former math teacher Kenneth Anderson Jr., former dean of students Ernest Timmons and former coach Clarence Thomas. In all three cases the employees were accused of having sex with female students. Timmons is the only one facing charges.
Bostic did offer a three-page rebuttal to the district’s claims. It said he took the correct actions with the investigation and will work to remove the reprimand.
“For more than 20 years, I have fought, championed, debated, and devoted my life for a better learning environment, with the hope of a difference in a child’s life. Please know, I will expend and demonstrate this same tenacity towards getting this written infraction removed,” Bostic said in the rebuttal.
