JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A judge set Michael Dunn's sentencing date Tuesday morning for Oct. 17 at 10 a.m.
Last week, a jury found Dunn guilty of the first-degree murder of Jordan Davis in 2012.

In his first trial, a separate jury found Dunn guilty of three counts of attempted second-degree murder for shooting at Jordan's friends inside their SUV.
The judge delayed sentencing on those charges until after the retrial.
Dunn is facing life in prison plus 25 years for using a firearm.
Sentencing is expected to take place on or around Oct. 17.
