St. Augustine police renewing push for information after deadly hit-and-run crash

The St. Augustine Police Department is asking the public for any information following a recent hit-and-run involving two pedestrians.

Police tell us one of the pedestrians only sustained minor injuries after being hit on October 6th at around 9:25 PM at North Ponce de Leon Boulevard and Dismukes Avenue.

However, the other pedestrian was airlifted to the hospital, where police say he later died.

Traffic homicide investigators are continuing their search for the vehicle involved. They say it's described as a light, four-door sedan and will likely have right front-end damage. It was last seen heading northbound on North Ponce de Leon Boulevard.
