St. Augustine Sunglasses Hut robbed

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office responded to a possible retail theft at Sunglass Hut in St. Augustine, Fla. on Tuesday.

Brain James Tomkins was working at the store when he says a black male entered the store and took items from the store without paying for them.

According to police, two pairs of Versace sunglasses, two pairs of Dolce & Gabana sunglasses, Prada sunglasses, Burberry sunglasses, two pairs of Coach sunglasses and Polo sunglasses were stolen.

No physical evidence was collected, but the store does have video surveillance.  Tomkins was unable to provide a copy of the video.

The thief will be charged with felony grand theft less than $5,000.
