St. Johns County is helping residents go green by providing recycling services for cooking oil, holiday lights, batteries and electronic devices.
The recycling drive will be held Jan. 4 from 7:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Francis Field, 25 West Castillo Drive, and behind the St. Johns County Parks and Recreation at 840 West 16th Street.
For those recycling cooking oil the county is asking residents to let the oil cool and deliver it in a safe, sealed container that they are willing to part with as the container will not be returned.
St. Johns County is giving away free funnels for future recycling efforts!
