JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two teen sisters are seeking justice for their mother who was murdered more than 14 years ago.
"Everybody tells me I look like her,” 15-year-old Alexis Cook said.
Alexis and her sister Jazmin said their mother Vickie Cook especially loved the holiday season.
"She always dressed us up with our favorite character,” Alexis said.
"I think it was Christmas and she had a whole bunch of Mickey Mouse clothes she was going to wrap for us,” Jazmin said.
Action News Jax first spoke with Cook's aunt Wednesday who said she was using social media to share Cook’s story.
Cook was stabbed to death in her Jacksonville home in 2001 when she was just 19 years old.

Her two daughters were in the house at the time of the killing when they were just babies.
Cook’s killer was never caught and Jazmin and Alexis said they want the case reopened so they can have closure.
"She never really got a chance to be a big part of my life,” Jazmin said.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement posted Cook’s picture on Facebook and details of the case, which Jazmin and Alexis said they’re hoping will help lead to answers.
"It's been hard knowing that no one knows anything about it and that nobody's saying anything about it,” Jazmin said. “It's like it's just washed away in the wind."
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said the cold case unit did investigate Cook’s case in the past but they are not actively investigating now.
JSO said anyone with information is urged to call 904-630-0500 or email JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org.
The victim’s advocacy group MAD DADS told Action News Jax they are planning to canvass the neighborhood where Cook was killed to try and help find information on the case.
