Fernandina Beach, Fla. — On Thursday the City of Fernandina Beach announced delays to resident trash pickup for the reminder of the week.
In a Facebook post the city said Advanced Disposal crews are running a day behind schedule due to staff illness but are expected to be back up to speed by the weekend.
Advanced Disposal was acquired by Waste Management.
