JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The FBI is looking into online posts by extremists about the new movie "Joker."
A document from a U.S. Army base says officials have been alerted to a potential mass shooting threat at a theater during next week's premiere of the movie.
U.S. Army officials say the threat does not reference a specific location for the threat.
It comes seven years after 12 people died in a theater shooting in Colorado.

Naval Air Station Jacksonville confirms they've warned everyone on base about the same potential threats surrounding the movie.
Here is what an NAS Jax memo that was sent out referencing the treat read:
"Team JAX,
FYSA, recent news articles in Stars and Stripes, Gizmodo and NY Post, have highlighted law enforcement warnings concerning a potential mass shooting at the premier of the "Joker" at an unknown movie theater on Oct 4th. The FBI, local law enforcement and military criminal investigators are taking this threat seriously. Always be vigilant and if you see something, say something."
Action News Jax reached out to local theaters to see if any security will be added. We're waiting to hear back. AMC showing of the movie will start around 4 p.m. Thursday while other theaters will show the movie on Friday.
