Temperatures today will be in the upper 70s inland after only hitting the low 70s at JAX Airport on Monday, not far from the record low high. It’s going to be especially windy at the beaches, which will allow temps to drop to near 70 by late afternoon.
We remain cool inland at night and more mild at the beach.
Midweek will be windy, sunny and mild with temperatures still below average, in the upper 70s.
Thursday will see a mix of sun and clouds with the possibility of a few showers and temperatures near 90.
Friday and Saturday feature scattered showers and warmer temperatures into the low to mid-80s. We see a better chance for afternoon storms on Saturday.
The weekend will turn gradually hotter - with the upper 80s forecast for Sunday.
