Women across the country say they're still out hundreds of dollars, more than three months after Yulee moms told Action News Jax they were scammed by an online leggings company.

Dozens of former brand ambassadors for The Legging Loft have come forward to Action News Jax since our story aired in May.

Now our investigation has uncovered that the business owner, who has a history of fraud charges, has opened a new business.

Melissa Adams' new business is called Work at Home Solutions.

Her picture is on the business’ website.

Work at Home Solutions’ Facebook page lists the same Florida address that Adams used for The Legging Loft.

That Facebook page also shows her new business is advertising leggings.

“I made a car payment the first month selling leggings,” said former Legging Loft brand ambassador Misty Heath.

The Seattle mother of five said at first, selling leggings for The Legging Loft seemed like a great way to help support her family.

When Heath saw Action News Jax’s investigation about other brand ambassadors who said their orders were late, incomplete and low quality, she didn’t want to believe it.

“I felt bad for her [Adams]. I felt like she was just a business owner who bit off more than she could chew,” Heath said.

That was before she said Adams stopped responding to her questions about her refund, deleted The Legging Loft brand ambassadors Facebook page, and deleted the page where ambassadors could monitor their commissions.

“No information at all, whatsoever. Zero. Lack of communication. She just cut us all off, shut us down and stopped responding to messages. And that’s when I was like, 'OK, so this really isn’t ethical,'” Heath said.

“These girls are on a vindictive vendetta to destroy my company name,” Adams said in May.

When Action News Jax confronted Adams about her former fraud charges in May, she used expletives and hung up.

Adams did not return Action News Jax’s phone call Tuesday.

Heath said she’s still missing part of her order from March and has little hope of getting her money back.

“I am only out $133, but there are multiple people that I’ve talked to that are out $300-$400. And when you start adding everybody up – I mean, we’re talking over 600 ambassadors,” Heath said.

The Better Business Bureau gives The Legging Loft an “F” rating.
