NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — According the Florida Highway Patrol, at around 4:45 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19, a single car crash ended deadly near the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway bridge.

A vehicle heading eastbound on State Road 200 veered off the road to the right and traveled east onto the grass shoulder. The vehicle then went down the embankment and entered Wade Place.
The vehicle began traveling west on Wades Place where it left the road again and struck a tree.

The woman driver died from her injuries and has not been identified.
