A woman told officers she was shot with a shotgun in the parking lot of a Jacksonville Walmart on Sunday.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the woman was taken to the hospital several hours after she was shot in the parking lot of the Walmart on Beach Boulevard near Southside Boulevard around 10 p.m.
Her injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said.
According to police, the woman said she was walking through the parking lot when she was shot with a shotgun.
JSO said that the woman was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center several hours after she was shot.
Detectives are investigating.
