Vilano Beach in central St. Johns County was devastated by Hurricane Matthew, with many of the beachfront homes suffering major water damage.
Residents of this small community -- it's only 2 square miles -- posted videos on YouTube that showed the amount of damage caused by the storm.
One homeowner uploaded a 7-minute video of herself walking through her home and backyard.
“It was like a wave … came through here," she said. "It’s like a tornado ripped through here. We have sewage and toilet paper in the backyard.”
