Jacksonville, Fl. — Mayor Lenny Curry announced Sunday that help is on the way for those struggling with rent and utility.

Federal funding will be provided for Jacksonville residents needing assistance.

Details for application process will be released in a couple weeks after it goes through City Council legislation for appropriation.

Earliest people could see relief is two weeks from Monday.

The landlords will have to participate, payments go directly to landlord, but paperwork will have to be submitted by tenant.
