- Voters have decided to pass the 1 mill property tax increase to help Duval County Public Schools raise teacher pay to attract and retain qualified teachers.
- The race for Jacksonville sheriff is heading to a runoff in November. Republican TK Waters will face Democrat Lakesha Burton.
- John Rutherford projected winner of Republican nomination for U.S. House in Florida’s 5th Congressional District.
- Val Demings is the projected winner of Florida’s Democratic U.S. Senate primary.
- Charlie Crist is the projected winner of Florida’s Democratic gubernatorial primary.
- Kat Cammack wins Republican nomination for U.S. House in Florida’s 3rd Congressional District, the Associated Press projects.
- Aaron Bean wins Republican nomination for U.S. House in Florida’s 4th Congressional District, the Associated Press projects.
