Jacksonville, FL — The Sunday after Thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel days of the year.
Nearly 11,000 travelers are expected to file through the Jacksonville International Airport today.
Flyers are being asked to arrive at the airport at least two hours before their planned departure.

Travelers like Ryan Glass obliged. “Make sure we get up early, have everything packed the night before,” he said.
According to the TSA, airport passenger numbers smashed those from last year.
On Saturday, more than two million passengers went through TSA checkpoints compared to 900,000 the same day last year.
