FBI offering $2,000 reward for information on stolen energy drinks worth $65,000

TAMPA, Fla. — The Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering $2,000 to someone with information leading to an arrest after a number of energy drinks were stolen in Tampa, Florida.

Eric W. Sporre, a special agent in charge of the FBI's Tampa division, told WPLG that a driver parked a tractor-trailer and stole the goods overnight Feb. 2 to Feb. 3. The trailer, which has $65,000 worth of drinks, is thought to be in South Florida.

The FBI asks anyone with information contact the FBI Tampa field office at (813) 253-1000 or go to tips.fbi.gov.

Tampa Bay Times reported the trailer has the identification number LRG 5347 and Florida tag 2277CS.
