Brevard County Sheriff's deputies say two llamas created a real traffic jam on a busy Florida road when they escaped from a nearby home.  (WFTV)

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — Drivers in Florida came across an unlikely roadblock Wednesday when a pair of llamas decided to take a stroll through traffic.

The llamas, a mother and her son, escaped from their nearby home and made it to a busy road just in time for rush hour, deputies said.

The llamas’ owners gave chase in golf carts, and Brevard County sheriff’s deputies used their cruisers to corral the pair.

With the help of animal control officers, the llamas were eventually caught and led home safely.
