WOODLAND PARK, Colo. — Colorado police have stepped up a search for a Woodland Park woman who disappeared during Thanksgiving weekend, KDVR reported.
Kelsey Marie Berreth, 29, a pilot instructor and mother of a 1-year-old daughter, has not been heard from in more than two weeks, the Denver Post reported.
Security cameras at a Safeway store in Woodland Park recorded Berreth shopping on Thanksgiving, the television station reported. When her mother asked police three days later to conduct a welfare check on Berreth, nobody was at her residence, KDVR reported.
According to investigators, Berreth's cellphone was pinged near Gooding, Idaho, where she has relatives, KDVR reported.
Berreth's brother held a vigil in Tacoma, Washington, for his missing sibling, the Post reported. Friends and family sang "Silent Night" by candlelight, a video of the vigil showed.
"All I can ask is people continue to pray, continue to share, continue to know her face and if they see her anywhere, please, please say something," Brandon Kindle, Berreth's brother-in-law, told KDVR.
Family members have set up a Facebook page dedicated to finding Berreth.
