CARSON, Calif. — There have been many rousing renditions of the national anthem, but a 7-year-old girl who calls herself an “actor, model and anthem girl” turned in a memorable version Sunday.
Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja won an anthem contest sponsored by Major League Soccer’s LA Galaxy. That allowed Malea Emma to sing before the Galaxy’s match Sunday against the Seattle Sounders.
