ENID, Okla. — Investigators in Oklahoma are looking for a man accused of sexually assaulting a baby and sharing a video of the assault on social media.
According to the Enid News & Eagle, Brice Gage Watkins, 22, is facing felony charges of lewd acts to a child, as well as child pornography manufacturing and distribution, Enid police said.
Investigators first learned of the incident Aug. 11 when a woman told Norman police that Watkins had sent her a video that showed him molesting the infant in an Enid home, the newspaper reported. Two days later, another woman told Enid police that Watkins had sent her a video, as well, according to the report.
Although Norman police arrested a man they initially believed to be Watkins on Aug. 14, authorities later learned that he wasn’t Watkins and released him, the News & Eagle reported.
In a Facebook post Tuesday, Oklahoma City police said U.S. Marshals are now involved in the search for Watkins.
If you have information about the case, call Enid police at 580-242-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 580-233-6233. Tipsters could earn up to $1,000 in reward money, according to the News & Eagle.
