Body wrapped in plastic found on roof of McDonald’s in New York

NEW YORK — Police are investigating after a body was found Wednesday morning wrapped in plastic on the roof of a McDonald’s restaurant in New York City, according to multiple reports.

Authorities got a 911 call just before 6 a.m. Wednesday about an unconscious person on the roof of the restaurant on East 149th Street in the Bronx, WNBC reported. When they arrived, they found an unconscious and unresponsive man wrapped inside a plastic bag, according to WPIX.

The man, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead at the scene, WPIX reported.

Authorities continue to investigate.

The city medical examiner’s office has been tasked with determining the man’s cause of death, according to The Associated Press.
