Former Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch arrested in Las Vegas on DUI

LAS VEGAS — Former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch was arrested on Tuesday in Las Vegas on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Police in Las Vegas said they stopped a vehicle driven by Lynch west of Las Vegas Boulevard for suspected driver impairment, according to KIRO-TV.

Officers later arrested Lynch after they determined that he was impaired.

Lynch, 36, was a member of the Seattle Seahawks from 2010-15 and 2019 and was part of the first team in franchise history to win the Super Bowl. He also played with the Buffalo Bills and the Oakland Raiders during his 12-year career.

According to USA Today, Lynch was cited for failing to surrender or drive in a travel lane. The car he was driving was not registered.

He relocated to Las Vegas in 2020.
