HIBBING, Minn. — Two missing twin toddlers are in the hospital after they were discovered inside a hot car in Hibbing, Minnesota, authorities said.
According to KMSP and KARE, Hibbing police learned that the 3-year-old boys were missing about 5:30 p.m. Monday. Around 7 p.m., someone discovered the children unresponsive inside a locked car near the home from which they were reported missing, KARE reported. Officers then “broke out the window to gain access to the boys,” police said in a news release.
Emergency crews rushed the twins to nearby hospitals, where one boy is in critical condition, police said. The other boy remains in stable condition, the news outlets reported.
Investigators do not suspect foul play in the incident, authorities said.
