Former Jaguar Tony Boselli once again a finalist for Pro Football Hall of Fame

Jacksonville native LeRoy Butler has also made the cut as a finalist for the Class of 2022.

CANTON, Ohio — Former Jacksonville Jaguars player Tony Boselli is once again one of the 15 finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Boselli, an offensive lineman, and former Jags RB Fred Taylor were named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s 25 Modern-Era Player Semifinalists for the Class of 2022 in November. Taylor did not make the cut for the finalists.

This is the sixth time Boselli has made the finals.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2022 will be introduced during the broadcast of the 11th annual “NFL Honors” show, a two-hour primetime awards special to air at 9 p.m. ET on Feb. 10, 2022 ahead of Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles.

Also making the final round is LeRoy Butler, who was a graduate of Lee High School and played his whole career with the Green Bay Packers, and Torry Holt, who played for the Jaguars during the 2009 season but spent the majority of his career with the St. Louis Rams.

Former Jaguars wide receiver Jimmy Smith was among the 123 nominees announced in September.
