Jaguars launch contactless mobile pay

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars introduced a new contactless mobile pay option called Jags Pay. Jags Pay is available through the Jaguars’ official mobile app and it allows fans to link any payment method to the app. Jags Pay can be used for all stadium concession and merchandise payments.

The Jaguars' official mobile app is the same app that allows fans to access their mobile tickets. This ensures that there will be fewer items brought to the arena and less physical contact with game day staff members.

“Health and safety are at the forefront of all our fan experience upgrades in 2020,” said Chad Johnson, Jaguars senior vice president of sales and service and chief content officer.

“Jags Pay provides a contactless purchasing option and speeds up transactions ensuring fans can return to their seat as quickly as possible. The technology also gives the Jaguars unique insight into the buying behavior of our fans. In the future, we can customize their experience at TIAA Bank Field with exclusive offers tailored just for their game day style.”

Jags Pay uses technology provided by Tappit and it requires a unique PIN or other method of identification to reduce the risk of theft and fraud. Jaguars season ticket members also receive discounted concessions with Jags Pay.
