Reports: Jacksonville Jaguars signing QB Nick Foles

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Quarterback Nick Foles is signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars, NFL Insider Ian Rapoport is reporting.

The NFL also reported that Foles is coming to Jacksonville, citing Rapoport.

Foles was the Super Bowl MVP in 2018, beating Tom Brady and Patriots 41-33 who 21-11 record as the starter with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Foles is set to make $88 million over four years, Rapoport says.

He had a 3-0 record in 2018 playoffs (2017 season) 3-0 record, 72.6% passes completed, 971 yards, 6 TD, INT and a 115.7 QB rating.

2018 regular season: won 4 of 5 down stretch to get Eagles into the playoffs. In the 2015 season with the Eagles, he had 27 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

What does this mean for current Jaguars QB Blake Bortles? According to NFL insiders, Bortles will be cut after Foles is officially signed.
