First Alert Weather: Bundle up! Wednesday's high temperatures are in the 50s

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Today will be much cooler than yesterday. We will see a chilly morning with breezy onshore winds. Highs will only rebound to the 50s to near 60 degrees this afternoon.

A coastal flood warning is in effect today. Some minor coastal flooding is possible with this morning’s high tide cycle ( 8:50 AM ), along with higher surf ( 5-7 ft + ) and some possible beach erosion.

A few showers will move in again on Thursday evening as highs climb back to the upper 60s during the day. Friday morning looks wet with rain and a few rumbles of thunder extending into the afternoon hours. A few showers will linger on Saturday morning before we dry out for the rest of the weekend.
