“But even overnight and sometimes in the morning hours there may be some rain to deal with as we go through the weekend and early next week”, said Buresh.

There will be some showers and heavy downpours likely before lunchtime on Saturday and Sunday. Timing may be close for rain and storms to fully exit the area ahead of fireworks.

Expect heavy rain at times, with 2 to 5 inches in spots over several days, and localized flooding.
