Tropical Depression 3 dissipates off the coast of Florida

11 a.m. Update: Tropical Depression 3 has dissipated, according to the 11 a.m. Advisory for the National Hurricane Center.

5 a.m. Update: Tropical Depression 3 is still on track to be well east of Jacksonville this afternoon.

Tropical Depression 3 has formed over the Northwest Bahamas just east of the coast of Florida.

The First Alert Weather Team said the system will turn more northwest through early Tuesday before turning more northward Tuesday staying to the east of the Jacksonville coastline.

TRENDING: 

The system will not become a major storm but will enhance a few heavy rain bands through Tuesday into Tuesday night.
