It’s a windy, cold end to the work week. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says temperatures will barely make it into the low 50’s this afternoon.

“...and with a gusty wind out of the northeast up to 25 and 30 mph, wind chills will be in the 30’s and 40’s all day long”, said Buresh.

Temps begin to warm up on Sunday with partly sunny skies and afternoon temperatures in the upper 60’s. Monday will be near 80 degrees.

We'll see a brightening of the sky by later this afternoon but we stay cold. Temps crash tonight with an inland frost or freeze early Saturday and a brisk start to the weekend.
